Magnetic Field Apparatus (Demo) - PE-249 / 17548

Students study three conductors — straight, loop and solenoid — on a clear plastic base. And they see results on either an overhead projector or tabletop. Wire is 0.6cm diameter with 5 turns. Each conductor has two terminals — simply connect them to a power supply less than 5 ADC. Use included iron filings and eight aluminum magnetic compasses (13 mm-diameters) to reveal fields and flux patterns. Includes instructions. Requires 0-12VDC power supply, sold separately
